We strive to make your visit as comfortable and efficient as possible.

Whether you are attending for an appointment, to purchase accessories or to have a treatment, we are here to support your eye care journey and would be happy to answer any additional questions you may have.

Our Location

Dry Eye Wales, brought to you by The Optical People, is conveniently located at 6 St. Mary’s Street in Chepstow. Situated in a central area, our clinic is easily accessible for both local residents and visitors. St. Mary’s Street is pedestrianised, with vehicles only being allowed access for loading purposes before 10:30 AM and after 4:30 PM.

Arriving by Car

For those arriving by car, Nelson’s Street Car Park is the closest parking facility (short stay with maximum of 4 hours stay), providing easy access to our clinic via St. Mary’s Arcade. Additionally, visitors can utilise the Welsh Street Car Park (long stay with all day parking available), which is also within a short walking distance. For individuals requiring disabled access, designated parking spaces are available outside of Henry’s Cafe at the top of St. Mary’s Street and by Coates Physiotherapist at the bottom of St.Marys street. If attending for a diagnostic or treatment appointment with an optometrist we recommend 2 hours parking. If attending for Activa only then 30 mins free parking (available in Welsh Street Car Park) will be sufficient. For any other appointments we would be happy to provide an estimate.

Our Clinic Layout

Our clinic is designed with accessibility in mind. There are no stairs to enter the ground floor of the premises, making it convenient for all visitors. While two of our four consulting rooms are located on the ground floor, our Dry Eye Suite is situated upstairs. Although the Dry Eye Suite is located on the upper level, we can accommodate all dry eye treatments downstairs if notice is provided in advance.
For example, with notice, our Activa therapy mask and IRPL machines are portable and can be set up in our downstairs treatment rooms, ensuring that our patients receive the care they need, regardless of their mobility or preferences.
